Language Data Engineer
Recruiter: Chongqing XinZhi Technology Co., Ltd.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the data annotation process for ASR, NLU, and other AI - related technologies to ensure high - quality data output.
Collaborate closely with product managers and technical teams to define and implement best practices for improving data quality and efficiency.
Develop and refine the standard operating procedures (SOP) for data quality management, including but not limited to tasks such as speech - to - text conversion, text classification, and entity recognition.
Provide training and support to the execution staff to ensure they can accurately understand and follow the established quality standards.
Analyze the quality issues in the data sets, propose improvement suggestions, and track the effectiveness of the improvement measures.
Have proficiency in multiple minority languages, especially Filipino, Turkish, Swahili, Hausa, Gujarati, Tamil, Marathi, Russian, and English. Provide professional review and feedback for the data in these languages when necessary.
Qualifications:
• Hold a bachelor's degree or above in computer science, linguistics, or related fields.
• Be familiar with AI - related technologies such as ASR and NLU and their application scenarios.
• Have at least 2 years of data annotation experience. Those with leadership experience in teams are preferred.
• Be proficient in one or more of Filipino, Turkish, Swahili, Hausa, Gujarati, Tamil, Marathi, Russian, and English, with good listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Possess excellent communication skills and be able to effectively collaborate with cross - functional teams.
• Pay attention to details and have a strong sense of responsibility and problem - solving ability.
Plus Points:
• Have a project management certification (PMP) or other relevant certificates.
• Have practical work experience in handling large - scale multilingual data sets.
• Be sensitive to emerging AI trends and technologies and be willing to continuously learn new knowledge.
