Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

-Identifying Irish tax issues related to new business initiatives

-Oversees VAT compliance, corporate income tax returns and other filings

-Provide tax reporting guidance based on research of transaction tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance

-Assist with internal and external tax inquiries/tax audit as they arise

-Research and analyze tax planning ideas to determine impacts for corporate income tax reporting

-Keeps up to date with changes in local accounting and tax legislation

-Special projects as needed

Qualifications:

Required skills:

-Advanced knowledge of tax accounting, audit process, and tax law;

-Experience with preparing complicated tax returns for corporate.

-Detail-oriented, organized and able to deliver on tight timelines

-Be able to work with multicultural teams and be patient and understanding

-Be able to work with a fast-paced start-up

-Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and local accounting system

-Experience from a Big-4 public accounting firm is preferred

Minimum Qualifications

-BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience

-5 or more years of tax experience with a public accounting firm and/or multinational corporation

-ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified
