For the iron ore department, we are focusing on raw materials for steel making, especially on iron ore.  There are 60 members in my team working in different, but specific groups with responsibility for tracking the steel and iron ore market among all districts in China every day.


Job Profile:

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Editor with native or near-native English proficiency to refine and polish industry-related content, including market insights, reports, and feature articles focused on the iron ore and ferrous markets. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.


Job Details:

Responsibilities:

1.Edit and polish daily news flashes covering the iron ore industry chain, surveys, and macroeconomic updates (1-2 pieces per day).

2.Refine daily market insights analyzing price movements in the iron ore market (2+ pieces per day).

3.Polish weekly and monthly market commentaries for commercial reports targeting the broader ferrous market (every Friday and at the beginning of each month).

4.Collaborate with analysts to develop high-quality feature articles on hot topics and research findings in ferrous markets (primarily iron ore), including outline discussions and language refinement (1-2 articles per week).

5.Oversee one of our report products, ensuring content accuracy and alignment with commercial marketing strategies.

6.Assist in additional language-related tasks, including marketing materials, consulting projects, and other ad-hoc revisions.


Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Native English speaker OR near-native fluency.

Strong ability to communicate clearly, revise, and polish language concisely.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Basic data processing skills (ability to work with databases).

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends.

Adaptability to ambiguity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in commodity markets (especially iron ore/ferrous metals).

Background in journalism, finance, or market research.
