Responsibilities:

This position will oversee the day-to-day management of all digital media elements, within the marketing portfolio. Key media includes, but is not limited to:

A. Website

B. WeChat

C. Video content creation as part of the marketing development

D. Any other platforms, as appropriate to the successful marketing and communication

The position is an important one within the larger marketing and events team.



• Backstage development and maintenance, daily operation update and promotion of the website

• Backstage maintenance, daily operation update and promotion of micro website

• Backstage maintenance, daily operation update and promotion of all official social media account

• Official WeChat account operation, plan and provide high-quality, highly disseminated content

• Event Mini program management and update

• Conduct digital/social media campaigns/events to drive the growth of fans, social voice and engagement rate

• Analyze the usage habits, feelings and experience of netizens, effectively complete the special planning activities

• Follow closely the development trend of WeChat and website, actively explore new operation mode of WeChat and website

• Fully understand school needs, collect user feedback, and analyze user behaviour and needs

• Support events to take photo, shoot video and make photoshop (Basic)

• Learn about the school's news in other search engines and answer questions about the school on other websites

Qualifications:


Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in relative area

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, journalism, Marketing, English or related field is preferred, or the equivalent knowledge and/or experience



Core Professional / Other Competencies required

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (WeChat, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)

• Solid knowledge of SEO, keywords and Google/Baidu Analytics

• Photography, video and photoshop skills (Basic)

• Ability to work in a collaborative environment

• Attention to detail

• Exceptional organizational skills

• Independent and well-structured working style with a hands-on, can-do attitude

• Service-oriented, ability to learn quickly and no stranger to fast pace of work

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with team spirit, intercultural awareness and openness for an international environment in a Chinese landscape
