Job Descriptions
1. Lead the Business Department in curriculum planning, development, and delivery, ensuring alignment with school standards and international benchmarks.
2. Provide teaching plans and lesson plans; guide and tutor students who require additional support.
3. Supervise and support Business teachers, providing mentorship, conducting appraisals, and facilitating professional development.
4. Monitor and report on student performance, set assessments, grade work, and provide timely feedback to students, parents, and school leadership.
5. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians, attend parent-teacher conferences, and provide performance reports.
6. Coordinate departmental resources, teaching strategies, and extracurricular business-related activities (e.g., clubs, competitions, entrepreneurship projects).
7. Actively participate in the school’s appraisal and professional development programs, contributing to whole-school initiatives.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
2. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Business at the high school level, with at least 2 years in a leadership/coordination role.
3. Strong knowledge of IGCSE/A-Level/IB Business curriculum
5. Valid teaching license preferred.
