Location: China

Nationality Requirement: Chinese

Language Requirements: Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (fluency in speaking, reading, and writing is required).

JOB Summary -

We are seeking a strategic and analytical professional to lead our Client China-focused business intelligence and raw material procurement efforts. This role involves tracking market trends, supplier dynamics, and regulatory developments in China, while ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of critical raw materials. The ideal candidate will combine strong research capabilities with commercial acumen and cross-cultural communication skills to support our Client Speciality Carbon and battery material operations.

Qualifications:

1- Deeply entrench into the network of CoalTar distillers and battery materials (Graphite anode and Cathode materials), update Company management about the latest happenings, including but not limited to Market Situation, Regulatory framework, and latest technological development.

2-Monitor and analyse China’s raw material markets, including coal tar derivatives, oils, speciality chemicals, graphite anode and Cathode.

3-Build and maintain relationships with Chinese suppliers, agents, and logistics partners.

4- Track regulatory changes, trade policies, and geopolitical developments impacting procurement.

5- Support price benchmarking, cost modelling, and negotiation strategies.

6-Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and align procurement plans.

7-Prepare intelligence reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.

8- Coordinate with finance and logistics for import documentation and compliance.

9- Participate in supplier audits and quality assessments.

10-Provide support for the Monthly Sales Planning.
