In May 1998, in Changchun, Jilin Province—the cradle of China's automotive industry, FAW Dongji Machinery Shock Absorber Co., Ltd. came into being. The company is a joint venture between Fawer Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. and Hitachi Astemo, with a 51% stake held by the Chinese party and 49% by the Japanese party. Its main business covers the research and development, design, manufacturing, and sales of automotive shock absorbers. Headquartered at No. 1966, Tengfei Road, Changchun Automobile Economic and Technological Development Zone, the company has three factories in Changchun, Chengdu, and Xushui, employing over 2,000 people.

Currently, the company supplies products to many well-known domestic automakers, including FAW-Volkswagen, FAW Hongqi, FAW Car, FAW Toyota, Great Wall Motors, Geely Automobile, Changan Automobile, BYD Auto, Seres, JAC Motors, and GAC Group. In addition, its products are exported to regions and countries such as Russia and South Korea.

The company has established a provincial-level R&D center, equipped with multiple sets of advanced testing and inspection equipment, as well as a first-class domestic R&D team of over 100 personnel. Integrating design, R&D, matching, trial production, and testing, the center can provide suspension matching services for whole vehicles nationwide and has the capability of independent R&D and synchronous development of shock absorbers with automakers. In October 2018, the laboratory of the R&D center was accredited by CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment).

The company currently has more than 1,100 sets of manufacturing, testing, and inspection equipment, among which over 130 sets are imported from countries such as Japan, the United States, Germany, and Spain. The three factories produce more than 1,300 types of shock absorbers in total, with an annual production capacity of 17 million units. The company implements quality control throughout the entire product manufacturing process and has established industry-leading precision measurement laboratories and physical and chemical analysis laboratories. It took the lead in the shock absorber industry to obtain certifications for three management systems: IATF16949 (quality management system), ISO 14001 (environmental management system), and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety management system).

Qualifications:

Understand the design and development processes of automotive components, with knowledge of solenoid valve design and development.

Proficient in CAD/CATIA drafting tools, with relevant experience in automotive component design.

Responsible for product conceptual design, document output, verification, validation, modification, and review in accordance with the product development system.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and responsible.

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging environments.

Willingness to travel for short-term assignments.

Preferred: Experience in suspension system design.
