Job Profile:

Chief Scientist

Core Positioning:
As the technical leader of the company in the fields of pharmaceuticals, chemistry, and medicinal chemistry, you will be fully responsible for the technological strategy, cutting-edge R&D, and industrial implementation of the company's core products. Your role will enhance the company's technological competitiveness and industry standing in the specialized active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and high-end formulations sectors.

Core Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement the company's medium- to long-term technology R&D strategy, focusing on the technological advancement and innovation of core product lines such as quinolones, antifungals, cephalosporins, and carbapenems.
2. Lead key technological breakthroughs from laboratory to industrialization, resolving major bottlenecks in production processes to ensure technological leadership and cost advantages.
3. Build and maintain the company's intellectual property system, spearheading the layout and application of core patents to solidify the technological moat.
4. Establish a high-level R&D platform and team, cultivate core technical talent, and strengthen collaboration with internal and external R&D institutions (such as the Shanghai R&D company and provincial research institutes).
5. Serve as the technical authority, providing in-depth support and decision-making guidance for the company's production, quality, registration, and business expansion efforts.


Job Details:

Responsibilities:

1.Focus on medicine, independently or as a lead, execute cutting-edge scientific research projects and technology development tasks to drive academic innovation and industrial application.
2.Participate in the application and implementation of national or provincial key projects, lead or contribute to the development of research teams, and mentor early-career researchers or technical talent.
3.Publish high-impact academic papers and apply for core technology patents, promote the transformation and industrial application of research outcomes, and enhance the organization’s influence in relevant fields.
4.Engage with domestic and international industry resources, conduct academic exchanges and industry-university-research collaboration activities, and establish cross-disciplinary and cross-regional innovation networks.
5.Complete other core research and development tasks assigned by the organization.


Qualifications:

1. In the fields of pharmaceuticals, chemistry, or medicinal chemistry, candidates should either not yet have come to China or have been in China for no more than one year.
2. Hold or be about to obtain a doctoral degree (preferably in engineering, science, medicine, or interdisciplinary fields related to the above disciplines). Priority will be given to candidates with prior work experience.
3. Possess a solid theoretical foundation and strong research competence in relevant fields, with a clear research direction. Preference will be given to candidates with high‑level publications, core patent applications, or experience in key research projects.
4. Demonstrate the ability to independently design, implement, and translate research projects into outcomes, along with strong innovative thinking, problem‑solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.
5. Willing to develop their career in China, with excellent communication skills and adaptability for cross‑cultural collaboration.


Benefit:

1.Annual Salary for the Position (RMB / EUR):60-90wRMB/ 76,900 – 115,400 €
2、Talent Program Support:
Selected candidates will be eligible for funding under relevant talent programs, no less than 1,000,000 RMB / 125,700€,including research start-up grants, talent allowances, and relocation subsidies, with specific amounts determined by the applicable program criteria.
