Job Description: Principal / Head of School (Early Childhood International School)

Job Profile:

We are seeking an inspirational, dynamic, and visionary expatriate leader to serve as our Principal/Head of School. The successful candidate will be the pedagogical and operational leader of our early childhood campus, embodying our mission and ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and child well-being. This role requires a passionate educator with extensive experience in early years education, exceptional intercultural communication skills, and a proven track record in school leadership and community building.

Responsibilities:

1. 教学领导与课程发展 | Pedagogical Leadership & Curriculum Development

Provide exemplary instructional leadership, ensuring the effective implementation and ongoing development of the school's curriculum (e.g., IB PYP).

Foster a culture of continuous improvement through professional development, coaching, and mentorship for teaching staff.

Oversee the assessment and documentation of student learning, ensuring practices are developmentally appropriate and aligned with best practices.

2. 学校运营与管理 | School Operations & Management

Manage the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring a safe, efficient, and nurturing environment for children, staff, and parents.

管理学校的日常运营,确保为儿童、员工和家长提供一个安全、高效和充满关爱的环境。

Develop and manage the annual school budget in collaboration with the finance department.

与财务部门合作,制定并管理年度学校预算。

Ensure full compliance with all local regulations and international accreditation standards.

确保完全符合所有当地法规和国际认证标准。

3. 社区建设与家校沟通 | Community Building & Communication

Build strong, positive, and trusting relationships with students, parents, faculty, and staff.

与学生、家长、教职员工建立牢固、积极和信任的关系。

Serve as the primary point of contact for the parent community, communicating the school's vision, policies, and student progress effectively and transparently.

作为家长社区的主要联系人,有效、透明地传达学校的愿景、政策和学生进展。

Act as a visible and engaged leader within the school community, participating in school events and activities.

4. 招生与营销 | Admissions & Marketing

Work closely with the admissions team to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain a diverse student body.

Represent the school at various events and to external stakeholders, promoting the school's brand and values.

代表学校参加各种活动并面对外部利益相关者,推广学校的品牌和价值观。

5. 战略规划 | Strategic Planning

Collaborate with the Board/School Group to develop and execute the school's strategic plan and long-term vision.

Qualifications:

Essential 必需条件:

Native or Native-level English proficiency.

母语或母语水平的英语 proficiency。

Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.

拥有幼儿教育、教育领导力或相关领域的硕士学位。

Minimum of 10 years of teaching and leadership experience in international early childhood settings (Ages 2-6).

In-depth knowledge and proven experience with the IB PYP curriculum framework. IB PYP Workshop Leader training is a significant advantage.

Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices for early years.

Demonstrated ability in staff management, professional development, and budget management.

Preferred 优先考虑:

Experience working in a multicultural environment in Asia/China.

Experience with Reggio Emilia, Play-Based, or other inquiry-based approaches.

Experience in obtaining or maintaining international accreditations (e.g., CIS, WASC).

Basic conversational skills in Mandarin Chinese are a plus, but not required.
