Position: Homeroom teacher
Salary Range: Competitive
Arrival: ASAP
Location: Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, China
Responsibilities:
1. Teach pre-school classes, plan lesson activities and prepare materials based on the provided curriculum
2. Observe and evaluate children's performancebehavior social development and physical health
3. Instruct students individually and in groups adapting teaching methods to meet students' varying needs
4. Establish and enforce rules for behavior and policies and procedures to maintain order among students
5. Confer with parents, teachers, and administrators to resolve students behavioral or academic problems
6. Administer standardized ability and achievement tests and interpret results to determine children's developmental levels and needs
7. Respect, appreciate and understand diferences inearnina and schoo culture
8. Attend staff meetings, workdays and professional development activities as assigned or recommended
9. Contribute to afterschoo activities on a regular basis
10. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Principal or Head of
Department
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or above; Education major
2. 2 years of teaching experience
3. Teaching Credential/License required
4. TESL/TEFL Certificate over 100 hours
5. TEFL/TESOL certification minimum (CELTA/DELTA/PGCE/OTS preferred)
6. Experience working with early childhood students, with IB PYP curriculum or Reggio familiarity preferred
7. Have an understanding and ability to teach pupils of all abilities
