Job Profile:

We are seeking an innovative and passionate Physics Teacher to join our dedicated Science Department. The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator who can create a dynamic and inquiry-based learning environment. You will be responsible for delivering rigorous physics content, fostering critical thinking, and inspiring a genuine love for the scientific exploration of the physical world.


Job Details:

Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Physics for grades [e.g., 9-12] in accordance with the [e.g., IB, AP] curriculum.

Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and intellectual risk-taking.

Design, supervise, and conduct hands-on laboratory experiments, emphasizing the scientific method and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Utilize a variety of formative and summative assessment strategies to evaluate student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.

Integrate technology seamlessly into the curriculum to enhance learning and demonstrate modern scientific practices.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, share resources, and participate in departmental meetings.

Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and well-being during parent-teacher conferences and through regular updates.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is highly preferred.

A valid teaching credential/license (e.g., PGCE, QTS, state teaching license).

Minimum of two (2) years of experience teaching Physics at a high school level. Experience with international curricula (IB Physics, AP Physics) is a strong advantage.

Proven ability to manage a laboratory setting safely and effectively.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
