Metro Line 19 Connects Two International Airports in 30 Minutes

Chengdu Metro Line 19, as a key rail line linking Tianfu International Airport and Shuangliu International Airport in Chengdu, has reinforced the city’s “air-rail intermodal transport” network, making airport transfers more efficient and convenient than ever.

The non-stop express train provides passengers a 30-minute ferry from one airport to the other. Now let's have a look at the upgraded service.

The Line 19 offers non-stop express train runs directly from the Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Tianfu International Airport to Shuangliu Airport in just 30 minutes with zero transfers and no stops between.

Before each departure, station announcements will inform passengers about train types and help guide them to the correct platform for the express service.
Open the “Chengdu Metro APP” to check train types (Direct/Regular) and arrival times.(You can scan the QR code to download the “Chengdu Metro APP”)

Electronic displays in stations provide real-time updates on direct and regular train services, and the signs at the station guide passengers to the appropriate waiting areas and platforms for direct and regular trains. Additionally, station staffs are positioned at key locations to offer assistance and answer passenger inquires.

After landing at Tianfu International Airport, follow the signs for “Arrival/Exit/Luggage Claim” to collect your luggage, then follow the signs for “Metro” to get to the Ground Transportation Center (GTC) to board the trains.

The GTC also offers options such as high-speed rail, taxis, ride-hailing cars and airport shuttle buses, allowing for seamless transfer between the airport and various ground transport modes to passengers.
