The construction of the Panlongcheng campus of Central China Normal University (CCNU) was launched on Tuesday in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province.
With a total investment of 8.606 billion yuan, the new campus covers 3,750 mu (equal to 2.5 million square meter). It will be equipped with classrooms, laboratory buildings, research buildings, libraries, dormitories and other supporting facilities related to teaching, researchand living for teachers and students.
It is expected to open its first phase in 2028, providing full-time undergraduate, postgraduate, and vocational education for about 20,000 students, including international students. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei)
