The Final of the First Overseas Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Ended Successfully

From March 27 - 28, the final of the first overseas talent innovation and entrepreneurship competition in Hebei Province came to an end at the offshore innovation and entrepreneurship base for overseas talents in Hebei (Shijiazhuang). With the theme of "creating the world by sea and looking forward to the future", the contest is aimed at the fields of biomedicine, equipment manufacturing and next-generation information technology, and collects entries. Since the contest started on January 28, a total of 224 teams have signed up for the competition. After sea election and preliminary selection, a total of 30 high-level projects advanced to the finals. At the final scene, the project was systematically presented in the form of "8-minute roadshow +7-minute defense", and the evaluation experts focused on the research and development strength, market prospect and business model of the project to ask questions, and scored according to the situation of the project landing in Hebei. After fierce competition, the project "Wearable Smart Device for Human Motion Monitoring and Protection" won the first prize; Three projects including "3C patch for innovative treatment of chronic wounds such as diabetic foot" won the second prize; 5 projects, including "research and application of exosomes", won the third prize. This year's competition aims at project landing. During the final, service activities such as financial matchmaking meeting and landing demand matchmaking meeting were organized for the contestants. Many project teams reached cooperation intentions with relevant enterprises and medical institutions. In the next step, the Provincial Science and Technology Department (Provincial Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs) will continue to build a broad stage for overseas innovative and entrepreneurial talents, promote "attracting talents by competition", establish a strong magnetic field for overseas talents gathering in Hebei, attract high-level talents to land in Hebei, and provide talent intelligence support to help enterprises in our province improve their innovation ability and achieve high-quality development.
