Xiamen's overseas service network continues to grow

Aug 17, 2026

Xiamen

Six institutions, including Guantao Law Firm (Xiamen Office), have recently been confirmed as the designated organizers of Xiamen's overseas comprehensive service workstations for 2026. The stations will be located across six key economic and trade markets, including Uzbekistan, Australia, Hungary, Italy, and Serbia, further expanding the city's overseas localized service network.

The workstations are officially accredited overseas comprehensive service hubs. They are operated by local enterprises, law firms, and supply chain institutions that have overseas connections and professional expertise. Their core function is to establish a two-way channel that facilities both outbound investment by local businesses and the introduction of foreign capital into Xiamen.

The addition of these 6 stations bring the city's total number of municipal-level overseas comprehensive service workstations to 31, with the network now spanning Belt and Road partner countries and major markets in Europe and Oceania.

The 6 newly established workstations each offer specialized services, with operators spanning law firms, import-export companies, state-owned investment promotion platforms, and supply chain companies. Together, they form a complementary service framework integrating legal risk control, cross-border trade, industrial investment, and supply chain support.

The workstations in Uzbekistan, Hungary, and Serbia are positioned to tap into the markets of Central Asia and Central and Eastern Europe, with a focus on facilitating production capacity cooperation with Belt and Road partner countries. Meanwhile, the Italy and Australia stations specialize in Europe's high-end manufacturing sector and consumer goods trade in the Oceania market.
