Shijiazhuang Maternal and Child Health Hospital

Shijiazhuang Maternal and Child Health Hospital (Municipal Children's Hospital, Municipal Sixth Hospital) is a tertiary Grade A maternal and child health hospital in the provincial capital that integrates medical treatment, health care, scientific research, and teaching. Established in 1951, formerly known as the Maternal and Child Health Station established by the Second Squadron of the Maternal and Child Health Department of the Ministry of Health in Shijiazhuang City, it is a national level baby friendly hospital jointly awarded by the former Ministry of Health, UNICEF, and World Health Organization. It is the center for the treatment of critical pregnant and postpartum women in Shijiazhuang City, the center for the treatment of critical newborns in Shijiazhuang City, the prenatal diagnosis sub center in Shijiazhuang City, the newborn screening center in Shijiazhuang City, and the provincial and provincial level Designated hospital for municipal medical insurance.
