A stroll in the park just got more melodious with the introduction of smart piano rooms named “QINXIAOZHAN” in several parks across Shenzhen. These small yellow cubes are redefining the park experience by allowing residents to play the piano amidst greenery.

Most smart piano rooms at parks are open to the public for free , Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reported.

As part of the Shenzhen Park Culture Season AI application program, these piano rooms aim to provide a convenient and enriching experience for the public. The initiative has been well-received, with parks like Bijia Hill Park, Shenzhen Central Park, Lizhi Park, and Xiangmi Park, among others, installing these innovative facilities.

Each piano room is equipped with a piano, a piano bench, air conditioning, and power sockets.
Each room is equipped with a piano from imported brands like YAMAHA, a piano bench, air conditioning, and power sockets. The rooms also feature 24-hour monitoring protection and regular disinfection to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
Making a reservation for the smart piano room is a breeze. Interested individuals can simply search for the “QINXIAOZHAN” miniprogram on WeChat, find their preferred park’s piano room, and reserve a time slot with a few clicks.
The intelligent access control system ensures that only users with a reservation can enter the piano room. The miniprogram also allows users to remotely control the room, schedule practice time, open and close the door, and adjust the air conditioning temperature, all from their fingertips.
Moreover, “QINXIAOZHAN” has developed free music courses suitable for all age groups.
