WeChat mini-program 'Int'l Services Taicang' launched

To continuously optimize the government service environment and precisely address the needs of foreign nationals in Taicang, the city's unified online government service portal has recently launched an "International Services Taicang" mini program on its WeChat platform太e办. This platform features "one-stop services, guided navigation, and instant queries", delivering a more efficient, convenient, and tailored service experience for expats in Taicang.

The section is divided into four modules, namely One-Stop Services, Exit & Entry, Community Integration, and Foreign-related Government Services, integrating 38 administrative services such as work permits for foreigners and talent innovation and entrepreneurship. Each service provides clear guidelines, application materials, and contact information, offering expats comprehensive guidance on employment and daily life matters. Besides, the mini-program features an English navigation system for government service centers of all levels in Taicang, enabling foreigners to find out offline services sites with one click.

Additionally, the Taicang Service Center for Expatriates opened its doors in March this year. It provides 73 services for expats, covering immigration affairs, foreign-related government services, and daily life integration.

As of now, Taicang has attracted over 1,800 foreign enterprises to establish operations and more than 1,000 expats with long-term residence. It has witnessed an annual influx of over 20,000 visitors from other countries. The launch of the international service mini program and the establishment of the Taicang Service Center for Expatriates ensure seamless development for foreign businesses and a comfortable, worry-free living experience for international residents in Taicang.
