School Introduction 

Handan Foreign Language School of Hebei Province was established in 1956 and is a provincial-level demonstration high school. In 1999, it was approved by the Education Commission of Hebei Province as the "Hebei Handan Foreign Language School". The school is located in the middle section of Heping Road in the city center, with three campuses: high school, junior high school, and international department. It covers an area of 104 acres and has a building area of 41900 square meters. There are currently 88 teaching classes with over 5500 students and 320 faculty members, including 284 full-time teachers, 105 senior teachers, 98 intermediate teachers, 2 Hebei Province's "Three Three Three Talent Project" in the new century, 8 provincial special level teachers, 16 national and provincial backbone teachers, and more than 20 national, provincial, and municipal model teachers. Among full-time teachers, there are 24 master's students, with a 100% qualification rate for undergraduate education.

The renovated experimental building has 12 first-class laboratories and 3 computer voice rooms. There is a modern library with a collection of over 60000 books, 7 newspaper and magazine reading rooms, student multimedia reading rooms, electronic lesson preparation rooms for teachers, science and technology lecture halls, observatories, music classrooms, art classrooms, and other facilities in the comprehensive building. We have equipped 410 highly configured computers for teachers and students, enabling each teacher to have one and broadband connection with the existing campus network and the Internet. The completed Phase II project has built modern sports stadiums, gymnasiums, student dormitories, etc. Modern facilities enable students to fully enjoy advanced teaching methods and create conditions for them to broaden their horizons.
