On June 18th, recommended by the Hebei International Education Exchange Association and Xingtai University, a team of 16 teachers and students from the St. Paul High School Swordsmen Basketball Team in the United States were invited to visit and exchange to study at Shijiazhuang No.2 Middle School, and receiving a warm welcome from our teachers and students.

St. Paul High School was founded in 1956 and is located in California, USA. It is a high-quality private high school in the United States that adheres to personalized education and cultivates students to strive for social justice, academic excellence, spiritual growth, physical achievement, and artistic development. Under the guidance of renowned coach Patrick Roy, the St. Paul High School Swordsmen basketball team has continuously forged legends and achieved excellent results in the United States 2A level championship, regional state playoffs, and level 1 playoffs.
In the morning, teachers and students from the St. Paul High School basketball team visited the campus of No. 2 Middle School, and then held a brief and warm welcome ceremony at the gymnasium. Song Wei, the Secretary of the Party Committee of Shijiazhuang No.2 Middle School, delivered a welcome speech, while Coach Roy and Coach William from St. Paul's High School in the United States also provided a speeches. Both parties exchanged gifts and expressed their beautiful vision of establishing a deep friendship.

Both parties exchange gifts
Subsequently, the two school teams held a basketball friendly exchange match, with Shijiazhuang No.2 Middle School's international basketball referee Wang Zebo, national basketball referee Wang Xiang, and national basketball referee Wang Ziyue jointly officiating. Both teams demonstrated high-level basketball skills, with fast attacks, rigorous defense, exquisite basketball skills, and smooth tactical coordination, winning cheers from the on-site audience.

This is a basketball exchange, a friendship exchange, and more importantly, a cultural exchange! Shijiazhuang No.2 Middle School basketball team members expressed that through this exchange match, they not only exchanged skills and experienced American basketball culture, but also made many American friends of similar ages, gained friendships, and broadened their horizons.
In the afternoon, the teachers and students of the St. Paul High School basketball team went to Shijiazhuang Zoo, Zhengding Longxing Temple and the ancient city wall to watch the charmingly naive giant pandas, appreciate the style of ancient buildings, and appreciate the unique charm of Shijiazhuang as a city of youth and vitality.

This exchange activity, using basketball as a medium, provided a platform for teachers and students from both China and the United States to learn and exchange ideas, establishing a deep friendship, understanding each other's culture, building a communication bridge, enhancing friendly exchanges between young people from both schools, and promoting common progress and development of young people from both countries.
