2025 Study in Chengdu Vlog Competition Officially Launched

and the vibrant local atmosphere rich with everyday hustle and bustle

in a truly stylish vlog?

Now, here is your chance!

To encourage international students enrolled in Chengdu universities and colleges to record their life with short videos, showcase the cultural appeal of Chengdu, and promote cultural exchanges between China and the world, “Experience Countless Wonders of Chengdu” —2025 Study in Chengdu Vlog Competition is now officially launched. Hosted by Chengdu Municipal Education Bureau and the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Chengdu Municipality and organized by Chengdu Education Center for International Exchanges, the competition sincerely invites international students to capture and share remarkable moments and experiences of their study and life in Chengdu through the lens of their cameras, showcase the youthful vitality and the charm of the city, and contribute to cross-cultural dialogue between China and the world.

Participate in Two Simple Steps!

Film Your Video

Eligible Participants: International students enrolled in Chengdu universities and colleges.

Theme: “Experience Countless Wonders of Chengdu”.

Content: Showcase of the life in Chengdu through your own perspective, with a focus on “countless wonders” of Chengdu.

Format: Landscape or portrait orientation in MP4 file format, with a minimum resolution of 1080p.

Language: Chinese or English (Chinese preferred).

Duration: ≤ 5 minutes.

Copyright: Submissions must be original and free from copyright disputes. The hosts reserve the right to use submissions free of charge for public welfare publicity, event promotion, and other purposes. Creators will be credited accordingly.

Information Required: Submission title, creator’s name, contact information, and school name are required in the email. Please submit your video as an attachment.

Submission

The competition is accepting submissions from now through 17:00 on November 7.

Online Voting

From November 14 to November 18, longlisted submissions will be featured on an H5 campaign page. Official channels will open for public voting. The most popular submissions will advance to the top 15.

Expert Evaluation

From November 19 to November 23, invited film and television experts will evaluate the top 15 submissions to determine winners for first, second, and third prizes, along with honorable mentions.

Winner Announcement

At the end of November, the winners will be announced on the official platforms.

Prizes

The competition will award one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, and nine honorable mentions, along with additional surprise gifts!
