The Foreign Experts Bookhouse of Shijiazhuang Tiedao University

The Foreign Experts Bookhouse of Shijiazhuang Tiedao University was founded in April 2021 and is located at Room 1206, Chunhui Building, with an area of approximately 37 meters ². At present, it has a collection of nearly 500 books, including academic papers, domestic and foreign journals, novels, newspapers and other materials, covering various fields such as economy, culture, life, education, etc., and are managed by the School of International Education.

Since its establishment, the bookhouse has carried out nearly 10 academic exchange activities. At the same time, a leisure salon of “Taste a cup of coffee and appreciate the fragrance of books” is organized every month. During the leisure salon, foreign experts, school leaders, and teachers gather together, holding coffee and talking about daily life, which further warms the hearts of foreign experts and has become a feature of our university's foreign expert bookhouse.
From now on, our university will further expand the bookhouse scale, optimize the reading environment, accelerate digital construction, and achieve a new sharing model that combines online queries and offline activities. This will provide higher quality services for spreading Chinese culture, telling Chinese stories well, and better serving the needs of foreign experts.
