Progress on Beijing Subway Line 3, which will soon run from Dongba and cut through the heart of Sanlitun and Gongti, is chugging along.
Station entrances, like the ones seen in the video above at Tuanjiehu, are nearly complete. Plus, the big “box buildings” surrounding intersections are coming down. Be that as it may, it looks like more work is needed before it's fully done.
Above ground, workers are still busy around these station entrances and other areas connecting to the subway. Below ground, subway trains are undergoing no-load test runs. Local media reports that Line 3 should be up and running within this year.
