The Foreign Affairs Office of the municipal government will launch a special visa application service for foreign business people coming to Chengdu.

The Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Chengdu Municipality will fully execute the requirements set forth in the notice issued by the Foreign Affairs Office of Sichuan Province on providing special visa facilitation services for foreign business visitors to Sichuan. It will launch the special visa application services for foreign business visitors to Chengdu. The services apply to business visitors who frequently need to travel to Chengdu for commercial and trade activities and who play an active role in promoting Chengdu’s foreign economic and trade cooperation. Their spouses and children are also eligible for such services. Inviting organizations include market entities of all kinds such as state-owned, private, and foreign-invested enterprises. Eligible foreign business visitors can use the “Special Visa Invitation Letter” to apply for a multiple-entry M visa or other applicable categories with a validity period of entry of up to five years and a stay period of up to 180 days at Chinese embassies or consulates.
