Holders of valid certificates listed in the Qingdao Directory for the Comparative Recognition of Overseas Professional Qualifications and Professional Titles can, upon meeting certain academic and work experience requirements, directly obtain comparative recognition of corresponding professional titles (by discipline).

Professional and technical talents holding valid certificates listed in both the Qingdao Directory for the Comparative Recognition of Overseas Professional Qualifications and Professional Titles and the Qingdao Overseas Professional Qualification Service Directory can also enjoy favorable policies including recognition of overseas work experience as equivalent to domestic work experience (except for certified public accountants), free continuing education, and inclusion in talent service programs.

Foreign talents holding overseas professional qualifications designated as "urgently needed" can also apply for multiple-entry visas valid for up to 5 years; or, with a work permit, they may apply for work-type residence permits valid for up to 5 years.
