In a recent interview, Ambassador of Latvia to China, H. E. Kārlis Eihenbaums, said China is a "very friendly country" and Beijing is a "very friendly city". He compared what he saw during his first visit to Beijing back in 1997 to how it is now, speaking highly of the city's remarkable achievements seen by him in recent years. With China's visa-free policies now in place, international tourists can travel to China more conveniently than ever.
