To enhance friendship and promote interactions between China and other countries, the Foreign Talent Research Center of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, in collaboration with the Immigration Service Center of the National Immigration Administration, is launching the 2026 Photography Submission on "China in the Eyes of International Friends" activity, open to foreign nationals who reside in China on a long-term basis. The specific arrangements are as follows:
I. Timeline
July–August 2026: Collection of submissions
September 2026: Selection and review
October–December 2026: Themed exhibitions and displays
II. Target Participants
Foreign nationals residing in China on a long-term basis.
III. Submission Requirements
Participants are invited to submit 3-5 photographic works that reflect their work, study, and daily life experiences in China. Suggested themes include scenery, culture and humanities, ecology, cuisine, and technological innovation. Each photo must be in JPG format with a file size of at least 3 MB. Each submission must include a 100-word description in English, a 100-word author biography and 1-2 recent photos of the author. Please fill in the Competition Registration Form in the attachment and send it together with your works to the email address: wetalent@ftrcmohrss.cn.
IV. Important Notes
All submitted works must be original. The contributor shall bear full legal responsibility for any plagiarism or copyright infringement arising from the submitted works. The author retains the copyright and authorship rights, while the organizers retain the permanent right to use the works. The organizers may use the works for exhibitions, promotions, publications, and other non-commercial purposes without additional compensation.
V. Honors and Rewards
Outstanding photographic works will receive a certificate of honor. Selected works will be featured on the Foreign Talent Integrated Service Platform, the SinoGuide App, and International Talent Exchange WeChat official account. Additionally, accepted works will be published in International Talent, China Exit and Entry Observation, and the Living In China guidebook. Contributors will receive remuneration and two complimentary copies of the respective magazine issues.
