Tiankai Higher Education Innovation Park Sci-Tech Collaboration event at Xiong'an Station was held in the Xiong'an New Area

To thoroughly implement the coordinated development strategy of the Beijing-Tianjing-Hebei region and to further promote in-depth cooperation between Tianjin and Xiong'an New Area in areas such as technological innovation, talent development, and collaborative platform construction, the Tiankai Park management seeks to fully leverage the park’s unique advantages as a hub for development of the Xiong’an New Area and linking innovation resources of both regions. The initiative aims to forge a collaborative framework for technology innovation characterized by mutual interaction and shared success. On April 2, the Tiankai Park management organized a delegation of six innovation service institutions from the Park to visit Xiong'an New Area, where they conducted a collaborative innovation exchange event - the Xiong'an Station initiative.

During the event, a roundtab;e discussion was held where representatives from Tianjin and Xiong'an introduced the planning and construction concepts, industrial layouts, and progress on key projects for the Tiankai Park and Xiong'an New Area respectively. Representatives from Tiankai Park’s innovation and technology service agencies focused on areas such as pilot and trial run testing services and talent resource matching, sharing valuable experiences and notable achievements accumulated in their operational practices at the Park. The two sides engaged in candid and pragmatic exchanges centered on industrial collaboration, commercialization of research findings, talent flow, and resource sharing, with the aim of identifying points of cooperation in multiple areas. Specifically, they sought to achieve three objectives: first, to extend Tiankai Park's mature innovation service ecosystem system to Xiong'an, thereby providing comprehensive support for the commercialization of research outcomes for enterprises in Xiong'an; second, to explore the establishment of a talent flow channels between the two regions, supporting mutual exchanges and learning among personnel; and third, to jointly open up application scenarios, particularly in fields such as new energy, new materials, and high-end equipment manufacturing, in order to identify matching between technology providers and end-users. The preliminary consensus reached at this symposium has laid a solid foundation for promoting deeper and broader practical cooperation in the future, while also serving as a new practical model for the collaborative development of innovation and technology across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

Moving forward, the two regions will aim to jointly promote the development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Xiong'an Innovation Triangle. To this end, they will strengthen mutual policy recognition, resource sharing, and collaborative platform building; break down institutional barriers hindering the flow of production factors; facilitate the efficient allocation of science, technology and innovation factors; and create a core carrier for collaborative innovation. They will promote the deep integration of technological innovation, continuously streamline the entire chain of technology commercialization, and construct a comprehensive, multi-layered framework for cooperation. This initiative will open up vast industrialization space for the abundant scientific and technological achievements generated within the Tiankai Park; enable the Xiong'an New Area to seamlessly integrate with established scientific and technological service ecosystems; pioneer replicable and scalable models for collaborative development within the Beijing-Tianjin-Xiong'an Innovation Triangle; and inject fresh momentum into the high-quality development of the Tianjin-Xiong'an Science and Innovation Park as well as broader regional economic growth, thereby going all out to propel the collaborative development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region to new depths and levels of substance.
