Two New Access Points Open in Beijing Subway

Recently, Exit F of Olympic Green Station on Beijing Subway Line 15 was officially opened. In addition, Tianqiao Citizen Squarewas connected to Tianqiao Station on Subway Line 8.
With the official use of Exit F at Olympic Green Station on Line 15, passengers can access China National Convention Center Phase II more quickly. This change is expected to reduce the proportion of exit-entry passenger flow at the existing Exit H from 55 percent to 30 percent. As a result, this will effectively alleviate congestion at Exit H during morning and evening rush hours and major conferences and events, helping to balance the overall passenger flow at the station.

The average daily passenger flow at Tianqiao Station on Line 8 is approximately 28,000. With the opening of the new connecting channel, passengers can now reach the underground floor of Tianqiao Citizen Square via Exit A of Tianqiao Station within one minute. This improvement reduces detour time by 3 to 5 minutes, making entry and exit more convenient for travelers. Additionally, it optimizes passenger flow, significantly enhancing the overall travel experience, particularly during the busy summer season.
