Songzi Honey Pomelos

Wangjiaqiao Town produces fruit with high yields in Songzi, Jingzhou. The pomelo planting area measures up to 12,000 mu (8 k㎡), whose annual output reaches nearly 10,000 ton.

The registered “Weishui” Mashui honey pomelos have been named “High-quality Fruit of Hubei Province”, “Famous High-quality Fruit of China” and has won gold medal on the Agricultural Fair of China (Wuhan). Having been approved by the Ministry of Agriculture, the pomelos are also exported to Russia under the favorable sales policy for green agricultural products.
With the approval of the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry & Commerce of the PRC, “Songzi Honey Pomelos” are registered as geographical indication certification trademark.
