Spring Green: Foreign Friends Taking Nanjing Metro, Strolling in Nanjing City, and Taking Photos of Nanjing Scenery

On April 15th, the Nanjing Friendship Association with Foreign Countries and the Nanjing Jiangning People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries jointly held the "Taking Nanjing Metro, Strolling in Nanjing City, and Taking Photos of Nanjing Scenery" - Spring Green event for foreign friends. They invited over 20 foreign friends from 9 countries to participate in the event, to jointly experience the development and changes of Nanjing and the charm of its practice as a modernized city with Chinese characteristics.

The Nanjing Metro, which connects the north and the south and runs east-west, currently has 13 operational lines. During the event, foreign friends took the convenient subway as their main means of transportation and embarked on a journey to experience the charm of Nanjing. The renowned Niu Shou Mountain Cultural Tourism Area, with its magnificent buildings and natural beauty complementing each other, makes foreign friends reluctant to leave. In the lush and verdant Nanjing Yuzui Wetland Park, foreign friends are experiencing the tranquility and harmony that blend natural scenery with cultural charm. This event also specially arranged a section for savoring local specialties, allowing foreign friends who came from afar to enjoy the delicious food while gaining a deeper understanding of Jiangsu's culinary culture. During the tight one-day schedule, the foreign friends were full of interest, constantly raising their mobile phones to capture every wonderful moment with their cameras. The magnificent buildings, the serene gardens and the surging rivers have all been recorded one by one, becoming unforgettable memories in the heart. This has deepened the understanding and love of foreign friends for Nanjing and also promoted the exchange and dissemination of Chinese and foreign cultures.

It is learned that the "Taking Nanjing Metro, Strolling in Nanjing City, and Taking Photos of Nanjing Scenery" series of activities for foreign friends, with the themes of "Spring Green," "Summer Ripple," "Autumn Maple," and "Winter Bloom", will run throughout the four seasons. Each event is expected to invite about 20 foreign friends to participate, aiming to showcase the beauty of Nanjing in all four seasons from an international perspective. The organizers will collect photos or short video works that reflect the characteristics of Nanjing from foreign friends. At the end of the year, the awards will be presented and displayed to showcase Nanjing's beautiful natural scenery, long cultural history, convenient transportation system, rapid urban construction, ever-changing economic development and colorful citizens' life. This will further expand Nanjing's international communication and gather more people to understand Nanjing,being friendly to Nanjing and loving Nanjing.
