The newly launched direct flight from Nanjing to Paris is the first passenger route connecting Nanjing with a core European aviation hub in recent years. This summer, inbound tourism to Nanjing is booming
On July 3rd, the 2025 WTI Youth International Camp kicked off at Nanjing Wild Adventure International Camp. On July 12th, Nanjing Weiyi School will also launch the second batch of international camp activities. The enhancement of the aviation hub level in Nanjing has provided a solid foundation for the development of inbound tourism
Since the beginning of this year, all units at Nanjing's airport have been focusing on continuously improving the comprehensive aviation logistics support capabilities and the hub level, actively improving contingency plans, optimizing customs clearance procedures, and enhancing the customs clearance experience, achieving remarkable results. Currently, Nanjing has launched 24 international and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan passenger routes.This year, inbound tourism in Nanjing has shown a significant increase. Data from the Nanjing Culture and Tourism Bureau shows that in the first half of this year, Nanjing received 302,100 inbound overnight tourists, an increase of 30.2%; and achieved 456 million US dollars in tourism foreign exchange income, an increase of 21.1%.
