Passenger traffic at Xiamen ports expected to jump

Passenger flows through Xiamen's ports of entry and exit are expected to increase significantly during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, according to Gaoqi Border Inspection Station officials. More than 56,000 passengers are expected to pass through Xiamen's ports during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, an average of more than 18,000 a day. During the National Day holiday, passenger traffic is expected to exceed 130,000 total trips, or about 18,000 passengers per day.
