The Temple of Heaven Museum was officially inaugurated on June 13, coinciding with China's Cultural and Natural Heritage Day. Centered around the Divine Music Administration of the Temple of Heaven, the museum integrates nine cultural and heritage exhibition resources, including the exhibitions on Zhonghe Shaoyue, the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, the cultural relics of the Temple of Heaven, and the history and culture of the Fasting Palace. Its opening means that all the eight UNESCO World Heritage sites in Beijing now have their own dedicated museums.

The museum deeply integrates ancient architectural heritage, intangible cultural heritage traditions, and cultural exhibitions. Through presenting the Temple of Heaven's cultural landscape, it showcases the philosophy of harmony between humanity and nature and living in accordance with the natural rhythms, bringing together its cultural relics and architectural legacy at a unified setting.

Additionally, at the event, the Beijing World Heritage Monitoring and Early Warning Platform was officially launched. Covering all the eight UNESCO World Heritage sites in Beijing, the platform integrates multidimensional data, including meteorological, seismic, hydrological, and public opinion information. It also supports comparisons among remote-sensing images updated quarterly, enabling precise identification of changes within heritage sites and their buffer zones. Featuring a closed-loop management system combining monitoring, early warnings and responses, the platform enhances a three-tier monitoring mechanism covering the national, municipal, and site levels. It promotes the transformation of cultural heritage protection from passive response to proactive prevention, thus strengthening the capabilities in risk identification and emergency response.
