Starting April 1, passengers aged 60 and above who are enrolled as frequent traveler members will receive 15 times the ticket price in loyalty points when traveling on passenger trains, which is three times the points awarded to regular members.
1. Who Can Benefit?
Senior frequent traveler members aged 60 or above who hold a valid resident ID card, Hong Kong and Macau Resident Permits, Taiwan Resident Permits, Hong Kong and Macau Travel Permits for the Chinese Mainland, Taiwan Travel Permits for the Chinese Mainland, or a foreigner’s permanent residence ID.
2. How to Participate?
Before purchasing tickets, senior travelers need to register and activate their frequent traveler membership on the 12306 website, 12306 mobile app, or at the station ticket window. Points will be automatically credited after ticket purchase and travel.
3. How Can Points Be Used?
Each 100 points equals 1 yuan, which can be directly used to discount train ticket fares.
For example, if you spend 1,000 yuan on a train ticket, you will earn 15,000 points, which can be redeemed for a 150 yuan discount on a future ticket purchase.
4. Additional Services for Senior Travelers
Senior passengers aged 60 and above can access special waiting rooms for key passengers at stations and enjoy personalized guidance for ticket inspection and boarding.
