Policies for foreign or Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students who want to take compulsory education

I. Entrance requirements

1. Local administrative departments of education help to enroll or transfer to schools according to relevant policies for foreign or Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students who live and take compulsory education in the area:

(1) Children of Foreign personnel who have the Alien Permanent Residence Permit;
(2) Returned overseas students’ children who live abroad with their parents for a period of time, children of returned overseas Chinese, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan personnel's children who live with their parents (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students), children of one of or both parents who have Hangzhou Talent Residence Permit/Hangzhou Specially-invited Expert Certificate/ Zhejiang Overseas High-level Talent Residence Permit, located in Hangzhou, starting up business or being brought in.
(3) Other foreign or Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students.

2. Students who meet the above conditions can apply for private compulsory education schools which can enroll and charge tuition according to policies and regulations.

II. How to sign up

Parents can sign up through Zheliban App or Zhejiang Government Service Network.
Please follow http://edu.hangzhou.gov.cn/ or Hangzhou Education Release(Wechat Official Account) in the second quarter if you want to know more about the routine, time and so on.


Note: All the students and children should be at appropriate ages to take compulsory education in Hangzhou.
