Medical institutions in Jiande

Jiande currently has 412 medical institutions, including one tertiary-level hospital and four secondary-level hospitals. The First People's Hospital of Jiande City (Hangzhou Normal University Jiande Hospital) aims to build itself into a medical highland in western Zhejiang, and is fully committed to promoting the establishment of a tertiary-level hospital. Currently, it has three provincial key disciplines, five Hangzhou-level key disciplines, six Hangzhou-level traditional Chinese medicine specialties and diseases, and seven famous traditional Chinese medicine doctors (at the grassroots level) in the province and the city. The 16 township hospitals (centers) have fully implemented the basic standards of the "Quality Service at the Grassroots Level" national program, with five meeting the recommended standards. We have also explored the construction of 15 rural regional medical centers, and the rural medical and health system is becoming increasingly complete, providing comprehensive and comfortable medical services for Jiande citizens and visitors.
