Beijing Happy Valley

The 2025 China-Chic Cultural Festival officially kicked off at Beijing Happy Valley on March 22.

Upon entering the park, visitors are greeted by a "China-chic" gate, which quickly becomes a photo-taking spot for many. The park is adorned with a motif of blue-and-white porcelain, with scenic installations such as scrolls, palace lanterns, and an antique pavilion.
Beijing Happy Valley is fully immersed in a style of blue-and-white porcelain.

This year's event has turned the entire park into a grand stage for blue-and-white porcelain-themed performances, presenting upgraded shows such as "Dreamy Blue-and-white Parade" and "Trendy China" . Visitors can watch shows of painting on porcelain by Sun Lixin, the fourth-generation inheritor of the amazing intangible cultural heritage technique from Sun's Kiln in Jingdezhen, along with performances presented by the Jingdezhen Porcelain Band.

A Performer dressed as the characters from "Calabash Brothers", a Chinese animated series, wows audiences with his fire-breathing show.

Throughout the festival, Beijing Happy Valley will be collaborating with two popular copyrighted works,  "Calabash Brothers" and the hit game "Honor of Kings", to create immersive anime and game-related experiences. The "Dessert Kingdom"zone has been transformed into the "Calabash Empire", where visitors can interact with the Calabash Brothers, the Snake Queen and other characters. The iconic "Chang'an Never Sleeps"scene from "Honor of Kings" has also been recreated in the park, featuring various hero characters.
