Recently, the Wuhan Immigration Service Center, in collaboration with the Wuhan Foreign Experts Bureau and relevant technology companies, hosted the “AI Technology Exploration” event and the unveiling ceremony for the “Foreign Expert’s Book House” to showcase China's cutting-edge achievements in artificial intelligence. This initiative actively builds a two-way bridge for Sino-foreign scientific exchange and talent services. By leveraging policy empowerment and resource connection, it injects new momentum for the settled development of international professionals in Wuhan, the recruitment of global intellectual resources by local enterprises, and the promotion of technology “going global.”

According to reports, the “Foreign Expert’s Book House” currently holds collections in 13 languages, covering areas such as China's national governance, economic and social development, scientific and technological innovation achievements, and diverse culture. Located within the Wuhan Immigration Service Center, the book house not only offers borrowing services but will also serve as a cultural window showcasing a real, multi-dimensional, and comprehensive China through diverse activities, helping the international community understand China and integrate into Wuhan.

During the event, officers from the Exit-Entry Administration Detachment of the Wuhan Municipal Public Security Bureau conducted a policy briefing tailored to the practical needs of Wuhan-based enterprises in recruiting international talent. They highlighted the latest facilitative measures, such as the newly introduced youth science and technology talent visa, to support international professionals in employment and entrepreneurship in Wuhan. Through face-to-face, precise interpretations, the briefing helped enterprises navigate policy barriers to effectively connect with global intellectual resources while assisting international talent in quickly familiarizing themselves with the policy support system for development in Wuhan.

Additionally, lecturers from technology companies systematically explained core topics such as large model training principles, multimodal fusion technology, and the safe application of AI in industries. More than 30 international student representatives from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), and Hubei University of Technology visited the Digital Human R&D Center. They gained an up-close understanding of the implementation outcomes of digital humans in scenarios like smart governance, smart education, and smart commerce, experiencing firsthand the innovative capabilities and industrialization level of China's artificial intelligence technology.

It is reported that the Wuhan Immigration Service Center is a comprehensive service center with physical offices from multiple government units, offering over 10 types of integrated foreign-related support services for foreigners in Wuhan. The center focuses on government services, policy promotion, and cultural dissemination, emphasizing functions such as talent attraction, investment cultivation, and integration facilitation. It regularly organizes foreign-related policy briefings and cultural exchange activities. Building on the foundation of the “Foreign Expert’s Book House”, the center will continue to host activities like reading sessions, technology salons, and policy matchmaking events, providing more precise services and richer resources to serve Sino-foreign talent exchange and cooperation, as well as Wuhan's scientific, technological, and innovative development.
