The trial runs until the end of August, offering free storage for up to 8 hours per use. Storage locations are within fare zones, and passengers must go through security and purchase tickets before using the service. Provided by XiaoIron and Hive Box, the service can be accessed via their mini-programs.
The first batch of 12 stations are located near transport hubs, commercial areas and tourist attractions, including:

The 24 storage locations feature 332 lockers in three sizes: small, medium and large lockers. Small lockers can hold items the size of a backpack, medium lockers can hold a 20-inch suitcase and large lockers can hold up to a 28-inch suitcase.
During the trial period, free luggage storage is provided for up to 8 hours. Passengers using this service must pay a deposit of 20 yuan ($2.76) through the mini-programs. The deposit will be refunded after the storage period ends.
For luggage stored beyond 8 hours or overnight, customer service will contact the passenger to handle the situation accordingly.
The self-service storage can be easily accessed by scanning the QR codes using WeChat or Alipay. Simply follow the instructions for a quick and easy storage process. Passengers can also check the availability of storage locations in real-time on the mini-programs.
