Recently, the land use for a link line project from the Guangzhou Railway Station to the Guangzhou South Railway Station has been approved by the People's Government of Guangdong Province. The project's full-line construction will greatly shorten the time of its completion.
When the project starts operation, it is expected to travel from the Guangzhou Railway Station to the Guangzhou South Railway Station within 15 minutes and to the Hong Kong West Kowloon Station within 1 hour. As a result, passenger flows in the southern part of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area can be more conveniently directed to the central urban area of Guangzhou.
