The "Monkey King Reading Room" is a public welfare cultural reading venue promoted by actor Liuxiaolingtong. Since the project was launched in 2023, a total of 31 reading rooms have been set up in various places across the country, covering communities, campuses, libraries and other venues.

Stepping into the "Monkey King Reading Room" in Shenyang, the atmosphere of the "Journey to the West" immediately envelops you. The 1986 TV series "Journey to the West" is being played on the display screen, classic photos of the Monkey King are hung on the walls, and various editions of the book "Journey to the West" and all kinds of traditional cultural classics are neatly arranged on the bookshelves.

As one of the carriers for Huanggu District to build a "15-minute reading circle", this distinctive reading space themed on the culture of the "Journey to the West" is not only a reading room but also a space that integrates multiple functions such as cultural display, intangible cultural heritage experience and study exchange. It is open to the public for free.
