High-Level Foreign Experts Shijiazhuang Tour International Talent Exchange Event Successfully Held!

On September 7th, the "High-Level Foreign Experts Shijiazhuang Tour" international talent exchange event was successfully held in the city. Guided jointly by the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Shijiazhuang Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, Shijiazhuang Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, and the Science and Technology Bureau of High-Tech Zone, the event was hosted by the China Association for International Exchange of Personnel and undertaken by the Hebei (Shijiazhuang) Offshore Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base for Overseas Talents.  
The event invited 4 foreign academicians from Russia, the UK, and other countries, as well as 6 high-level foreign experts from renowned overseas universities. Focusing on fields such as biomedicine, new-generation electronic information, and new materials, an exchange and cooperation matchmaking meeting was held.  
Participating foreign experts shared international cutting-edge technologies in related fields, while participating enterprises and foreign experts conducted in-depth exchanges on topics including international technological cooperation and localized transformation of innovative achievements. During the event, foreign experts also visited key enterprises, universities, and medical institutions in Shijiazhuang for technical exchanges, production line observations, and closed-door matchmaking.  
This special event organized by the Hebei (Shijiazhuang) Offshore Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base for Overseas Talents is a key initiative to implement the deployment of provincial and municipal science and technology management departments on the in-depth integration of "overseas intelligence + local industries." During the event, the base fully played its role as a bridge and link, adopting the model of "government builds platforms, the base conducts precise matchmaking, and industry, academia, and research institutions participate collaboratively." It successfully connected high-level overseas universities, research institutions with key enterprises in Shijiazhuang, promoted precise alignment between international high-end talents, cutting-edge technologies, innovative projects and local technological innovation needs, and injected strong momentum into leading industries to break through technical bottlenecks and unleash development potential.  
Going forward, the offshore base will take this event as an opportunity to continue leveraging the advantages of offshore innovation, attract more overseas talents and high-quality projects to settle in, inject vigorous impetus into Hebei's technological innovation and high-quality development, and help Shijiazhuang stand at the forefront in the global talent competition and industrial upgrading wave.
