Sparkbridge Incubator is dedicated to driving the success of early-stage startups, providing transformative mentorship, resources, and support. As a prominent player in the Canadian startup ecosystem, Sparkbridge now seeks a Chinese Business Developer to help expand our network within China, particularly through establishing partnerships with leading Chinese immigration agencies for the Canada Start-Up Visa program. This role is ideal for a dynamic, bilingual professional who thrives in international business development and wants to be part of an innovative team committed to creating long-term growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
1-Develop and manage strategic relationships with top Chinese immigration agencies to promote Sparkbridge's Canada Start-Up Visa program.
2-Negotiate partnership agreements and foster collaborative projects that align with Sparkbridge’s mission and the needs of potential Chinese startup founders.
3-Conduct market research on Chinese entrepreneurial trends, immigration patterns, and the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for partnership and service expansion.
4-Serve as the primary point of contact for Chinese agencies and clients, providing information about the Canada Start-Up Visa program and the resources Sparkbridge offers.
5-Collaborate with the Sparkbridge team to ensure seamless communication and effective partnership management, including regular reporting on progress and key insights from the Chinese market.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
Proven experience in business development, sales, B2B business development or partnership management, preferably with a focus on international markets or the immigration sector.
Strong understanding of the Canadian immigration system, particularly the Canada Start-Up Visa program, is highly desirable.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport across cultural and professional boundaries.
Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English, with strong written and oral skills in both languages.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
