Job Profile:

We are seeking an experienced residential design professional to lead end-to-end design for luxury custom homes and detached houses in the Australian market. This role covers the full design process, from concept and space planning to facade design, interiors, landscape concepts and design support through construction and handover.

Key Responsibilities

Lead client consultations, site measures, project planning and design development for luxury custom homes and detached houses.

Develop integrated designs covering site planning, floor plans, architectural facades, exterior design, interiors, materials and landscape concepts.

Prepare design drawings, 3D visualisations, technical documentation, material schedules and preliminary cost estimates.

Manage design presentations, client negotiations, design revisions and project coordination.

Coordinate with Australian clients, architects, registered building designers, builders, contractors and suppliers to support design implementation and project delivery.

Monitor design quality, attend site inspections where required, and resolve design-related issues through construction and handover.

Develop project portfolios and provide guidance to junior designers as required.

Qualifications:

7+ years of relevant residential design experience, with proven experience in luxury custom homes or detached houses.

Diploma or degree in Architecture, Building Design, Residential Design or a related discipline.

International design experience and professional English communication skills.

A strong portfolio showing comprehensive residential projects, including facades, floor plans, interior spaces and landscape design.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop or equivalent design software.

Strong understanding of residential construction, technical documentation, materials and project delivery.

Familiarity with Australian residential design and construction practices is highly desirable.

Strong creative vision, client communication, project management and team coordination skills.
