Job Profile:

1. Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality PE lessons across high school grades.
2. Promote lifelong physical activity, health, and wellbeing among students.
3. Lead and manage school sports programs, including fixtures, activities, and inter-house competitions.
4. Encourage both inclusive participation and competitive excellence in sport.
House System & Student Life
1. Design, implement, and oversee the school’s House system, including its structure, ethos, and points
system.
2. Lead and coordinate house-based academic, cultural, sporting, and community events.
3. Work with staff to embed house identity and foster positive student participation.
4. Support the development of student leadership within the House system (captains, tutors, and future
housemasters).
astoral Care & Wellbeing
1. Support and promote student wellbeing through mentoring, assemblies, and wellbeing initiatives.
2. Build a positive, inclusive school culture that links pastoral care closely with academic success.
3. Collaborate with the Principal and senior leadership to align pastoral care with the school’s ethos and
values.
4. Ensure safeguarding and child protection standards are upheld at all times.
Duke of Edinburgh Award (DoE)
1. Act as the school’s DoE Coordinator, managing registrations, training, expeditions, and award
completion.
2. Liaise with external DoE bodies to ensure compliance with programme standards.
3. Inspire and mentor students to successfully achieve their Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards.
Leadership & Management
1. Serve as a visible and approachable leader, actively engaging with students and staff.
2. Report regularly to the Principal on progress in sport, wellbeing, and house system development.
3. Line-manage and coordinate staff involved in PE, House, or DoE activities.
4. Contribute to wider school leadership discussions, particularly those related to student life, pastoral
care, and wellbeing.
Boarding Contribution (if applicable)
1. Support the boarding program and, if required, serve as a Housemaster/Housemistress.
2. Provide care, guidance, and oversight to boarding students, ensuring their wellbeing and academic
support.
Others
1. Undertake relative assignments as requested by the Principal

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Education, Psychology, or a related field
(Master’s degree preferred).
2. Proven experience in leading sports programs and student wellbeing within an international or
bilingual school context.
3. Strong understanding of international education systems and pastoral care frameworks.
4. PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification strongly preferred.
5. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
6. A genuine passion for teaching, student learning, and holistic education.
