Beijing New Talent Academy was officially established in May 2008 supplying A-level and AP curriculums. It is a K to 12 private boarding school, which includes Kindergarten (on campus), Dragon Bay Kindergarten (off campus), Primary School, Cambridge Center (Middle and High School), AP Center (Middle and High School), Art & PE Center and Chinese Language Center. 2. Position Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified international teacher with a strong academic background in physics, mathematics, engineering, or a related STEM field, as well as substantial experience teaching international curricula.
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for teaching:
AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism
Foundation Physics
Linear Algebra
This position goes beyond classroom instruction. The teacher is expected to take an active role in students’ learning processes and academic outcomes, including after-school support, homework feedback, formative assessment, and ongoing academic progress tracking.

4.Prepare lessons, deliver instruction, assess and provide feedback on student work, and conduct formative and summative assessments;
5.Provide after-school academic support and student learning follow-up;
6.Regularly communicate students’ academic progress and participate in subject-based professional development and curriculum development;
7.Collaborate with the school and academic team on other teaching-related responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

3. Essential Requirements
3.1 Academic Background & Teaching Experience
Bachelor’s degree or above in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related STEM field;
At least 3 years of experience teaching science or mathematics in international schools or international curricula programs;
Demonstrated experience independently planning and delivering international curriculum courses.
3.2 English Language Proficiency
Fluent in spoken and written English, with strong academic English proficiency;
Able to deliver clear, accurate, and effective English-medium instruction in physics and mathematics;
Native English speakers are preferred but not required, provided the candidate demonstrates strong English proficiency and can teach academic content fluently and accurately in English.
3.3 Subject & Course Expertise
Physics
Demonstrated teaching experience in one or more of the following:
oAP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism
oFoundation Physics
oIG Physics
Experience teaching AP Physics C: Mechanics is preferred.
Mathematics
Must be capable of independently teaching Linear Algebra;
Previous hands-on teaching experience in Linear Algebra is strongly preferred.
3.4 Demonstrated Teaching Outcomes
Able to provide verifiable evidence of AP teaching outcomes, such as AP 5-rate, class average scores, or documented student improvement cases;
Experience supporting high-achieving students and/or helping students achieve significant academic improvement.
3.5 Commitment to Student Learning
Responsible and committed to providing after-school academic support, homework feedback, and formative assessment;
Proactively monitor students’ learning progress and identify and address learning difficulties in a timely manner;
Willing to participate in the school’s teaching quality and student learning outcome evaluation system.

4. Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who:
Have experience teaching both AP Physics C: Mechanics and AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism;
Have substantial practical teaching experience in Linear Algebra;
Are familiar with the College Board AP curriculum framework and examination requirements;
Have teaching experience in Chinese international schools or international education institutions;
Hold a PGCE, QTS, state teaching license, or equivalent teaching qualification.
