Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses fully in English for our Sino-foreign cooperative program.Main teaching courses include:

General Physics, Chemistry and Physics of Materials, Solid State Physics, Physical Chemistry, Linear Algebra, Discrete Mathematics and other related courses.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements

1. PhD degree in Physics or closely related disciplines (solid professional physics background required);

2. At least 2 years of full-time undergraduate teaching experience at an accredited college or university;

3. Native English speaker (citizen of U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, New Zealand, Ireland);

4. Ability to teach foundational physics courses effectively in English;

5. Excellent communication, cross-cultural collaboration and teamwork skills;

6. Passion for teaching, patient, responsible and student-oriented;

7. Prior teaching or research experience in China is highly preferred;

8. Abide by the laws of the People’s Republic of China and the university’s regulations.

Compensation & Benefits

1.
Monthly Pre-tax Salary: RMB 16,000 –
20,000 (commensurate with academic qualifications and teaching experience),
highly competitive in Suzhou;
