Job Profile:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Sales department in Suzhou, China. In this important role, you will be developing new business opportunities within the CDMO sector as well as interacting with established customers.

Responsibilities:

Role and Responsibilities
• Enlarging client portfolio by developing new business opportunities and identifying new leads
• Aim to grow market share within the chemical industry / specific chemical product lines
• Identifying new areas & opportunities for the group laboratories to develop
• Attend sales meetings and scientific events as a representative for the company
• Maintaining excellent working relationships with customers
• Create reports on current market trends, prices and popular products
• Actively working towards achieving targets set by the Biosynth Group
• Coordinating and liaising with customers, sales team, laboratory team and administration team


Qualifications:

Requirements
• Educated to a minimum of BSc in a scientific discipline with 5+ years’ experience in CDMO preferably in a Sales & Business Development and / or Commercial role
• Proven track record of bringing in new business and negotiating contracts
• Ability to achieve demanding targets and deadlines
• Ability to follow projects through to completion
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good understanding of the products / services being sold
• Creative thinker able to spot new opportunities
