Rooted in Central China, the College integrates Crop Science and Plant Protection to pursue high-yield, efficient, eco-friendly and sustainable production of staple crops including wheat, maize, rice, rapeseed, cotton and soybean. Our core research areas cover molecular mechanisms governing key agronomic traits, development and application of cutting-edge biotechnologies, germplasm innovation, breeding of elite new crop varieties, and creation of supporting green and efficient production models.
